 All our JPA & JPT- S [J Plant Aquarium & J Plant Tank models] have the same width and depth with the same ends and locks and all options on the S models are interchangeable, with the only difference being in the length of the Aquariums, Tanks, and tiers.

This is our medium size floor model Aquaponic complete system kit in the JPA [Jorco Plant Aquarium] This system will give you 22 sq. ft. of growing space in the upper 5 tier trays, another 8 sq. ft. to start your plants growing on the seed tray extensions, and a 79 gallon aquarium to grow fish. The actual foot print of the Aquarium is less than 7 sq. ft. [The model numbers signify approx. plant sq. ft. production plus gallons.]

All Aquarium widths in the S models O.D are 20.50’’and the available lengths are: 24’’ 48’’ 72’’ and 96’’ for the longest aquarium.

All the O.D. tier tray widths for the S models are 17’’wide and the following are the O.D. lengths starting with the first bottom tier tray that begins a stack mounted on the aquarium 21.50’’ 45.50’’ 69.50’’ and 93.50’’

The height from tier to tier for the S model is: 8.75 inches.  

 

    The working height measurements for the S model tray sides mounted on the aquarium are:

The kits come with five tiers but as you can see six tier trays are not really all that high if you have the room. There is hardly any maintenance on these systems mostly just planting and harvesting and considering the fact that all the tier trays can just simply be lifted off and worked independently makes adding an extra tray a great option. [An extra tray in this case would be added to the top.]

 

Special Note:

 

All the S models have the same standard lengths and all tier trays are based on the length of the Aquariums.   

      

All the S models Aquarium heights with the base are: 20.00 inches.

Starting with our smallest model this gives you 4 lengths to choose from. These are the standard but if you must have a certain specific length we will build it for you for no extra charge. Cost for special lengths will just be based on the next standard length.

 

Our longest JPA Floor model for instance gives you a 158 Gallons for the grow area in the Aquarium and 61 sq. ft. of growing area in the tier trays.

                                                          Standard Complete kit

 

This is the standard 7 tier tray complete kit comes with two additional tier trays that are added to the bottom of the system to replace the aquarium or tank. This 49’’long system will give you 44.00 sq. ft. of growing space in the 7 tier trays and seed tray extensions and the height to work the side of the top tray is only 66 inches. If you wanted to add an 8th tray and extensions at the bottom this system it will give you 51 sq. ft. of growing space. The foot print or actual vertical rectangular space used for this unit is only 5.50 sq. ft.

 

The working height for the S floor model with tier trays mounted on the tier tray feet are:

As mentioned earlier there is very little maintenance on these systems mostly just planting and harvesting and considering the fact that all the tier trays can just simply be lifted off and worked independently makes adding an extra tray a great option, and on a Level Surface when weight loaded these towers become very stable and included as well as a precautionary measure to eliminate any chance of these tower systems tipping  over from side to side, on all of the  kits that exceed 5 tier trays we include a base that simply pins to the feet extending their width from 17’’ to 24 inches if you feel your application warrants it.

 

These tower kits can be set up lots of various ways or into two towers with an extra pair of feet. Excess water from the bottom could also be directed where you want it with a hose or we have a very inexpensive full length 3’’ tall tray that matches the system that could be added to receive excess water.    [The model numbers signify approx. plant sq. ft. area of growth in the standard 7 tier tray kit.]

All O.D. tier trays are 17’’wide and starts with the first tier tray mounted on the tier tray feet at an O.D. length of 26.50’’ and the kits are available in the following lengths up to the 96.00’’ for the longest.

The standard tier tray extensions are 8’’and on units over 4 ft. in length are 12’’ to match the longer tray but if you would prefer a certain length it’s no problem.      

                                                                                                                    

Starting with our shortest model this gives you 4 lengths to choose from. Our longest JTT-S Floor model for instance gives you 84.50 sq. ft. of growing area in the 7 tier trays with a foot print of only 5.50 sq. ft. And if you add another tier tray this S model system will give you a 96 sq. ft. growing area. [All tier trays are added to the top on our longest systems do to shipping]

 

 

                                                         Versatility: 

 

The following is our medium size JPTTB [Plant Tier Tower Barebones] series and the JPTTC [Plant Tier Tower Complete] and just one example of how versatile you will find these systems to work with. Here we just simply lifted the 5 tier trays and feet from the Aquarium and set them on the floor. These same tier tray feet with pair of locks are designed to receive all trays, all S Model aquariums or any Level surface.

 

Example: The barebones is the exact same unit just using the simple tier tray locks.
